Tomb Raider coming to a mobile near you (November 17)
In-Fusio signs deal with Eidos to deliver Lara to mobile platforms
Mobile games publisher In-Fusio has signed a licensing deal with Eidos to bring a mobile phone version of Tomb Raider to millions of users across the globe.
Under the terms of the agreement, In-Fusio said it will handle versions of the game designed for its own ExEn mobile game engine via network operators.
The Tomb Raider edition will also be available across multiple platforms including ExEn, EGE, Java, Symbian, Brew, I-mode and Windows Mobile.
Tomb Raider mobile is a side-scrolling platform game in which Lara can perform all of her signature moves, such as running, jumping, crouching and climbing.
As she progresses, the game's leading lady with her trademark pistols can pick up useful items and store them in her inventory for later use. She can also push and pull certain items within the game to gain access to otherwise unreachable areas.
Tomb Raider mobile features three episodes: The Osiris Codex, The Quest for Cinnabar and The Elixir of Life. The game will be available in English, French, Italian, German Spanish, French and Chinese.
